As a key leader in our service department, you will oversee the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring top-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and electrical systems will drive efficiency and excellence across all service activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled team, implement best practices, and contribute to the ongoing success of our dealership or service center. Duties Lead and mentor a team of automotive technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence Diagnose complex vehicle issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools, schematics, and wiring diagrams Perform repairs on automotive engine systems, including diesel engines, powertrains, and electrical components with precision and attention to detail Oversee vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and heavy lifting procedures using power tools and manual handling techniques Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively and efficiently Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including heavy lifting protocols and proper use of hand tools and power tools Maintain accurate repair records, complete detailed service reports, and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in an automotive service environment Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, engine repair (including diesel engines), powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures Skilled in automotive diagnostics with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive repair software Ability to lift heavy objects safely while adhering to manual handling safety standards Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions Join us as a Lead Automotive Technician if you're passionate about delivering top-tier vehicle repairs while leading a motivated team.
