Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician - B, where your expertise will drive exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be vital in diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements. Repair and replace auto body parts, welding components when necessary to restore vehicle integrity. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for mechanical repairs and adjustments. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features to ensure driver safety technology functions correctly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, document repair procedures, and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers. Experience Proven experience or automotive repair background with a focus on vehicle diagnostics and repair. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including powertrain, electrical systems, suspension, steering, and brakes. Familiarity with automotive service standards for diesel engines, auto body repairs, welding techniques, and alignment procedures. Experience with automotive electrical systems diagnostics using schematics and specialized tools. Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices safely. Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and foster positive customer relationships.
