Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist our skilled mechanics in performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Assist mechanics with disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles and equipment Support routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid checks Prepare and clean work areas and tools for mechanics Remove and install parts as directed by the lead mechanic Help track parts inventory and tools Perform basic diagnostic tests under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization in the garage or repair shop Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working in the shop Qualifications Interest in the automotive industry; previous experience is a plus but not required Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic understanding of vehicle components and systems (training provided) Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Good communication skills Benefits Excellent starting pay $500 tool allowance Company paid benefits - BCBS Medical, Guardian Dental/Vision Offered compensation: $16/hr - $20/hr Experience and License Requirements Driver's License General Mechanic (optional)
