Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic problems efficiently. Carry out routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure safety and longevity. Repair or replace components using hand tools and power tools with precision and care. Execute specialized repairs including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, welding, and vehicle electrical system troubleshooting. Interpret auto estimating software to determine repair scopes and communicate effectively with customers about service needs. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; diesel engine repair experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work with automotive powertrain components, transmissions, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repairs and build trust with clients. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS calibration processes, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools is highly desirable.
