Automotive Technician

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles including engine repairs, powertrain work, brake systems, suspension, steering, and alignments Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts for precise repairs Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components to ensure vehicle safety features are functioning correctly Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately Conduct vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background with a strong mechanical knowledge base Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS calibration, and diagnostics software Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable Ability to repair diesel engines and perform powertrain work including transmissions and engine overhauls Skilled in vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs Knowledge of automotive estimating processes for accurate job costing and customer communication Experience with welding, auto estimating software, auto electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics tools is preferred Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment Join our team as an Automotive Technician if you're passionate about delivering top-tier automotive care!
