Mechanic This position will consist of the repair and maintenance of fleet equipment for our telecom operations. The equipment will include but not limited to trucks, drills, trailers, backhoes, mini exes, etc. This position is primarily in a shop/yard setting, with site service calls as needed. What Do You Offer Us? Perform job tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policy Ability to change oil in crew trucks and haul trucks and equipment where needed Perform general maintenance (tire rotation, brake servicing, apply decals, etc. on all equipment) This position will require the operation of a forklift Ability to pull, lift and carry heavy objects Must be able to move about in an around construction vehicles and equipment. Ability to crawl over and under construction vehicles and equipment. Flexibility of working long hours and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions Maintain a clean work area and pick up all tools and equipment to secure the work area each day Documents all maintenance and repairs on work order forms Welding and Fabrication Communications with the Fleet Coordinator and Operations for updates on repairs Install telematics (GPS) in all equipment All other duties as assigned

A Valid Driver's License is required. CDL is a plus! Experience in the telecom industry is preferred Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work which includes lifting, carrying, crouching, and crawling. Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and balance. Must provide your own tools to perform repairs. This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
