Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for quality service and technical excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles Service vehicles by replacing or repairing parts such as transmissions, power tools components, brakes, suspension systems, and more. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards during all repair activities. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed. Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing repairs needed and communicating effectively with service advisors. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed in accordance with dealership or shop standards. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background working on a variety of makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience repairing GM vehicles or similar brands preferred; familiarity with diesel engines is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work with automotive service equipment including alignment machines, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners. Experience in handling complex repairs involving ADAS calibration or advanced electrical troubleshooting. Customer service skills that foster trust and clear communication with clients about their vehicle needs. Prior auto estimating experience is advantageous for assessing repair costs accurately. Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as powertrain components, transmissions, suspension systems, and diesel engines enhances your versatility as a technician. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
