Job Description

Overview Metric Motors of PV is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have several years experience in automotive repair, particularly within a import/domestic dealership or independant environment. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all repairs and maintenance tasks. Our technicians are provided computers, diagnostic tools, and required equipment to perform efficient and quality workmanship. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, electrical, and mechanical components. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Communicate with team regarding the vehicle's condition, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various automotive systems. Proficient typing and computer skills. Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to automotive systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety guidelines. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
