The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and is committed to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while meeting manufacturer and industry standards. As an Automotive Body Technician, you will perform structural and non-structural repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform complete collision repairs, including dent repair, panel replacement, frame and structural repairs, and panel alignment. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles according to manufacturer repair procedures. Repair or replace damaged body panels, bumpers, fenders, quarter panels, and related components. Perform MIG welding, sectioning, and sheet metal repairs as required. Measure and straighten vehicle structures using industry-approved repair methods and equipment. Remove, install, and align bolt-on and welded panels to OEM specifications. Work closely with estimators and management to ensure repair plans are properly executed. Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality, fit, finish, and safety standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Accurately document repairs, labor operations, and supplement needs throughout the repair process. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of collision repair/body technician experience preferred. Previous collision center or dealership experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, structural repairs, and OEM repair procedures. Experience with MIG welding, panel replacement, and sheet metal repair. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welders, and collision repair equipment. I-CAR certifications are a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality repairs. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
