Must hold or be eligible to obtain, prior to employment, a valid CA Designated Subject Career Technical Education Teaching Credential with EL Authorization for the subject to be taught. (Refer to the Commission on Teaching Credential (CTC) leaflet ctc.ca.gov/docs/default-source/leaflets/cl888.pdf?sfvrsn=88065bf8_20) Must have three (3) years of verifiable work experience directly related to industry sector.

• One (1) of the years' experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years.
• Two (2) years work experience may be substituted with 48 semester units of post-secondary college level coursework related to the subject or 48 semester units of vocational training related to the subject.

Three (3) signed letters of recommendation dated within the last two years.
