This role is perfect for a motivated professional with a passion for automotive diagnostics, repair, and technology. As a Master Diagnostic Technician, you will leverage your extensive mechanical knowledge and diagnostic expertise to accurately identify complex vehicle issues, perform advanced repairs, and ensure optimal vehicle performance. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are safe, reliable, and running at peak efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive systems and contribute to a team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, including advanced electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize schematics, diagnostic tools, and software to identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair equipment. Diagnose and repair gas/diesel engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension components, and alignments with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to execute complex repairs accurately while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Assist in vehicle maintenance procedures such as fluid changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system calibrations. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Support auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair requirements and parts needs for efficient workflow management. Requirements Proven dealership experience as a Master Diagnostic Technician or similar role with extensive diagnostic skills. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and advanced diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment procedures, and powertrain repairs. Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, diesel engines, welding techniques, and general automotive repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and specialized automotive service equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics thoroughly for precise troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery. Valid technician certification(s) such as ASE Master Certification or equivalent; dealership certifications preferred.
