Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and efficiency. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs safely and effectively. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features like lane departure warnings and collision avoidance systems. Conduct wheel alignments and suspension adjustments to optimize vehicle handling and safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and service manuals to guide repair procedures on GM vehicles or other makes as required. Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimating reports, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for precise repairs. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and ADAS technology integration. Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake servicing, wheel alignments, and suspension work. Strong understanding of automotive service standards with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
