Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments to keep vehicles running smoothly. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and electronic control modules. Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and estimated timelines, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably within a dealership or service environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and braking systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of Ford vehicles or similar brands is advantageous; diesel engine repair experience is highly desirable. $52,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
