You will leverage your technical expertise to perform complex diagnostics and repairs, directly contributing to the operational efficiency and uptime of our logistics network. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems for tractors and trailers using advanced diagnostic software like JPRO and OEM tools. Conduct thorough preventive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime and extend the service life of our equipment. Perform detailed DOT-compliant inspections to ensure all vehicles meet strict safety and regulatory standards. Utilize multimeters and computer-based diagnostic platforms to accurately identify and resolve performance issues. Maintain a high standard of shop safety and organization while managing equipment repairs. Collaborate with team members to streamline maintenance workflows and improve overall fleet reliability. Qualifications Required Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance or a related technical field. Proven ability to utilize diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and Windows-based software. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing or reaching. Preferred Skills Possession of or ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license. Technical or advanced degree in Diesel Technology or a related automotive field. Active ASE certifications or a strong desire to pursue certification with company support. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fleet maintenance environment.
