In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise. You will leverage your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to provide accurate estimates, recommend services, and facilitate smooth communication between customers and the service department. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of repair services and maintenance options. Utilize your experience in auto estimating to present accurate quotes for services. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and service recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist in managing service appointments and follow-up communications with customers. Stay informed about new automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends. Experience The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills: Dealership experience is highly preferred. Background in auto service management or service writing. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance. Experience with CDK is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Sales experience in an automotive context is a plus. Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
