Position:

Assistant Service Writer As an Assistant Service Writer, you will support the Service Writer and shop staff in ensuring smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service. This is an excellent role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry and customer service management. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience Assist with writing repair orders and updating work tickets Communicate repair status between technicians and customers Help with scheduling appointments and coordinating vehicle drop-offs/pick-ups Prepare invoices and process payments Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-ups Assist with parts ordering and inventory tracking Support the Service Writer in daily shop operations Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills Customer service experience (automotive experience a plus, but not required) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (experience with shop management software is a plus) Team player with a positive attitude Valid driver's license with clean driving record What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) Full-time position Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) On-the-job training and growth opportunities Family-oriented work environment Employee discounts on vehicle service and repairs Paid time off Paid holidays How to Apply Please email your resume to jkautoec@gmail.com or call (619) 449-4769 to schedule an interview.
