Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components. Repair and maintain vehicles with a focus on powertrain systems, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments. Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic modules to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems accurately and efficiently. Execute wheel alignments and perform wheel balancing to guarantee proper vehicle handling and safety standards. Assist with auto body repairs and welding tasks as needed to restore vehicle integrity after collisions or damage. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair orders promptly, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working on Ford or similar vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and engine repair—especially diesel engines. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Familiarity with schematics interpretation and troubleshooting ADAS features such as lane departure warning or adaptive cruise control. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and wheel alignments. Experience working with GM vehicles or other brands is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
