Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Service Ticket Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our service technicians, customers, and management by accurately documenting vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow in our automotive service environment. Duties Create detailed and accurate service tickets for vehicle repairs and maintenance activities Communicate effectively with mechanics and service technicians to gather repair information Assist in estimating repair costs using auto estimating software and mechanical knowledge Maintain clear records of all service activities, parts used, and labor performed Support automotive repair operations with precise documentation Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience preferred HS diploma Ability to maintain detailed records, computer proficiency Understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus Familiarity with various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and auto body repair ability to communicate technical information clearly
