The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and accurately. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics techniques and tools. Work with schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components effectively. Conduct alignment, powertrain, transmission, and diesel engine repairs as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform repairs. Provide excellent service by communicating clearly with service writers regarding vehicle issues and repair options. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies. Qualifications Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is required. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for troubleshooting automotive issues. Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and repair manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. . A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be beneficial but are not mandatory.
