Service Advisor / Automotive Service Writer We are seeking a driven Service Advisor who not only delivers excellent customer service but can confidently present and sell recommended repairs and maintenance. The Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs while ensuring a smooth and professional service experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns, and provide timely responses Educate clients about the company's products, services, and offers Prepare and present repair estimates, and confidently recommend and sell needed services Communicate updates on repair progress and timelines Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payments Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs Present and sell recommended repairs and maintenance based on technician inspections, helping customers understand the importance and value of the work their vehicle needs. Manage complaints, returns, and resolve customer grievances professionally Serve as a link between customers and different departments within the organization Follow up on recommended or declined services to drive additional sales This role serves as the primary link between the customer and the shop, combining strong communication skills with a results-driven sales approach to increase customer satisfaction and overall shop revenue.
