In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction. Our shop handles all things automotive, from routine oil changes and brake jobs to suspension work, diagnostics, engine repairs, motor rebuilds, and more. This position offers a strong opportunity for a full-time mechanic who takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced shop environment, and is ready to grow with a hardworking automotive team. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, brakes, suspension, tune-ups, diagnostics, engine work, and general automotive repairs. Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools, mechanical knowledge, technical resources, and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Inspect vehicles accurately and identify necessary repairs or service needs. Perform mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, braking systems, cooling systems, electrical components, and other vehicle systems as needed. Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards. Communicate clearly with the shop team regarding repair progress, parts needed, and vehicle concerns. Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional. Follow proper safety procedures when working with vehicles, tools, lifts, and shop equipment. Assist with larger repair jobs, including motor work, rebuilds, and advanced mechanical services when needed. Requirements Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician. Strong knowledge of general automotive repair, diagnostics, maintenance, brakes, suspension, engine systems, and related vehicle services. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle problems accurately. Experience using automotive tools, scan tools, lifts, and shop equipment safely. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to work on a variety of vehicles and handle different repair types. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to contribute to a growing shop. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and follow shop procedures. Own tools are preferred, but not required depending on experience. Valid driver's license preferred.
