Our team specializes in mobile maintenance and repair for commercial trucks, trailers, chassis, and yard equipment. Position Overview We are looking to bring on a part time Chassis and Trailer Mechanic with a clear path to full time employment. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company, prove your ability, and grow into a long term role. This position is for someone who wants more than just a job. Automotive and heavy duty experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on trailers and intermodal chassis Diagnose and repair brake systems, wheel seals, bearings, suspension components, and axles Repair air systems including valves, tanks, and hoses Diagnose and repair lighting, wiring, and ABS systems Perform structural repairs including landing gear and crossmembers Complete DOT inspections and must be proficient in BIT inspections Perform welding and minor fabrication as needed Use mobile tools and software to document work, track time, and upload photos Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck Follow all safety procedures and company standards Requirements Must be proficient in BIT inspections and understand compliance standards Experience in automotive, trailer, or heavy duty repair Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability Welding experience Valid driver's license with a clean record Ability to work independently and stay productive in the field Comfortable using a smartphone for job documentation and communication Strong attention to detail and communication skills What We Are Looking For Coachable attitude and willingness to learn Ability to take direction and apply feedback quickly Leadership mindset with the ability to take ownership of jobs Reliability and consistency in showing up and completing work Someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time Why Join 91 Bravo Opportunity to grow from part time into full time Competitive pay based on experience Hands on field work with real responsibility Work with a respected and established company Be part of a team that values accountability, safety, and quality If you are looking for an opportunity to grow, develop your skillset, and step into a long term role with leadership potential, we encourage you to apply.
