BRAKE AND
LAMP/ Vehicle Safety Inspection Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough safety inspections on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards and vehicle regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent mechanical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Vehicle Safety Inspection Technician plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle safety and reliability for our customers. Duties Perform comprehensive safety inspections on vehicles, including brakes, lights, tires, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions accurately. Identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure vehicle safety. Document inspection results clearly and accurately in the company's reporting system. Assist with minor repairs or adjustments as needed, including auto body repair or light mechanical work. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during inspections and repairs. Stay updated on automotive repair techniques, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Qualifications •MUST HAVE A TECHNICIAN LICENSE
•Proven experience in automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, or auto body repair is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with automotive service procedures and auto restoration processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by the job. Prior mechanic experience or automotive technician certification is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and regulatory compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Valid driver's license is required; clean driving record preferred.
