This energetic role combines mechanical expertise with customer-focused service, ensuring drivers get back on the road safely and swiftly. You'll operate specialized tow trucks, perform battery diagnostics and replacements, and handle various vehicle repairs with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely. Perform automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues quickly and accurately. Conduct battery testing, replacements, and repairs to ensure vehicles are operational. Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, managing conflicts professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist with automotive repairs related to mechanical systems, manual transmissions, or electrical components as needed. Maintain accurate records of services performed, vehicle movements, and inventory of parts like batteries. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Hands-on experience working with tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar recovery equipment. Mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including transmissions (manual and automatic) and electrical components. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record preferred for towing operations. Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle challenging customer interactions professionally. Ability to load/unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual tools. Prior experience in automotive repair or roadside assistance roles is highly desirable. Pay:
