Automotive Technician (Mercedes-Benz, BMW & Audi Specialist) A and M Motors Marina del Rey, CA 90292 $27.87 - $45.00 an hour - Full-time $27.87 - $45.00 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician specializing in luxury European brands to join our dynamic service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-end vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi models, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services. As an Automotive Technician, you will be instrumental in diagnosing complex issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precise workmanship and outstanding service delivery. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will contribute to maintaining the reputation of our dealership as a leader in automotive excellence. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues within vehicle electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles operating at peak performance. Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension parts, electrical wiring harnesses, and steering systems with precision. Interpret automotive schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately and efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle parts while adhering to safety standards. Conduct wheel alignments and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety. Document all repairs performed in accordance with dealership standards and provide detailed estimates for customer approval when necessary. Qualifications Proven dealership experience working on luxury European vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or Audi is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle suspension systems. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics equipment and interpreting schematics or wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration and vehicle alignment procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues efficiently. Service technician experience demonstrating a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service excellence. Ability to read auto estimating guides for accurate job costing; familiarity with GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus. Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service during vehicle repairs and maintenance interactions. Join our team where your expertise will be valued!
