- Training-Focused Shop Seiko's Auto Service is an established, growing independent shop in Monrovia specializing in Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Honda, Acura, Mazda, and hybrid vehicles.
We also service Toyota Prius models regularly and are beginning to expand into Tesla maintenance and light repair. This role is a great fit for a strong B-level technician, experienced production technician, or motivated intermediate technician who takes pride in doing things the right way, wants to keep learning, and is ready to be part of a shop with high standards for inspections, documentation, cleanliness, and teamwork. We are not a shortcut shop. Brakes get taken apart, cleaned, lubed, and done properly. Cooling systems get bled correctly. Batteries are tested on every vehicle. Digital inspections are completed thoroughly every time. The details matter here because our clients rely on their vehicles every day, and our reputation is built on trust. Shop Environment Seiko's Auto Service has been serving Monrovia since 2014. The owner is a technician who built the shop with the goal of changing how people feel about auto repair. The shop focuses on communication, authorization, trust, convenience, and long-term relationships with clients. We have 7 bays, 6 lifts, strong diagnostic equipment, and a growing team. Our tools and equipment include Autel scan tools, Toyota GTS, PicoScope with pressure transducer, Tesla Toolbox hardware, and specialty tools for the vehicles we service. Our goal is to continue growing into the go-to shop in the area for Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Lexus, Acura, Mazda, and hybrid vehicles. What You'll Be Working On Most of the work in this role will be inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repair on Asian import vehicles, especially Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Mazda, and hybrids.
You should be comfortable with:
Performing complete digital vehicle inspections on every vehicle Maintenance services and fluid services Brake work done properly, with no shortcuts Suspension and steering repairs, including struts and shocks Cooling system repairs and proper bleeding procedures External engine repairs such as belts, pulleys, water pumps, sensors, and valve covers Basic testing such as batteries, starters, and alternators Using scan tools and code readers Navigating tablets, digital inspections, and shop technology Helping service advisors identify correct parts when needed Experience with Toyota and Subaru sealed transmission fluid services is a big plus. Experience with timing components, valve adjustments, internal engine work, electrical testing, wiring diagrams, live data, and drivability testing is also valuable, but we are willing to teach the right person. Schedule Monday-Friday Shop hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Technicians are expected to be ready to work by 7:35 AM No weekends. The shop shuts down for lunch from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, and we provide a weekly team lunch on Wednesdays along with an all-staff meeting. Pay & Benefits Compensation is based on experience, skill level, and production ability. $20

We pay for training, classes, certifications, travel, lodging, and meals when approved. Training may include WorldPac, ASCCA, AAPEX/SEMA, The Institute, local distributor classes, and other industry education. Preferred Experience ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
