Education:

High school graduation or equivalency.

Experience:

2-4 years' experience. Considerable previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.

Physical Demands:

Work requires heavy physical exertion and effort.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Arizona Class "B" Driver's License within 6 months of hire. Possession of 4 Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E.) Certificates, or ability to obtain within 1 year after hire. Tell me more….. Join the Fleet Maintenance team as they provide vital support to Public Works, Police Department, Water Services, and numerous other divisions. This position involves performing preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of gasoline and diesel powered equipment; including light and heavy-duty vehicles, construction and maintenance equipment, and aerial trucks. This includes the diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, and powertrain systems or components. The ideal candidate for this position will have: A solid automotive or heavy-duty equipment repair background. Welding and/or fabrication experience.
