Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and custom finishes using conventional spray guns or airless paint sprayers for a flawless finish. Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and buffing equipment to repair dents, scratches, and imperfections on vehicle bodies. Perform auto body repairs including welding, panel replacement, and structural adjustments to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Conduct surface inspections and perform detailing tasks such as polishing and buffing to achieve a high-gloss finish. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling fumes or dust. Assist with auto glass replacement or repair as needed during the refinishing process. Requirements Proven experience in auto painting within a dealership or auto body shop environment is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and auto body repair equipment. Familiarity with surface preparation masking techniques and automotive surface refinishing processes. Ability to operate spray guns for conventional spraying and airless paint application efficiently. Knowledge of automotive body repair procedures including welding, auto restoration, and auto estimating is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform detailed finishing work. Automotive mechanic experience or background in vehicle maintenance is advantageous but not required. Join us to turn automotive visions into reality!
