In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support our operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for heavy machinery and a commitment to excellence in vehicle maintenance. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension components, and electrical systems across various heavy equipment types. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately. Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Service and repair farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, cranes, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy-duty machinery. Replace shocks & struts, perform wheel alignments, tire service, brake repairs, and suspension work to ensure optimal safety standards. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference. Skills Proven experience working with dealership service departments or heavy equipment repair shops. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery, and automotive diagnostics. Skilled in the use of schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems and hydraulic circuits. Ability to perform precise vehicle maintenance tasks like alignments, air brake adjustments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs. Capable of heavy lifting safely while working in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with industrial safety standards is essential.
