Automotive Technician Overview:

With loyalty and satisfaction from our repeated, as well as new customers we have become very busy and are looking for an extra automotive technician to handle the load. Our team is dedicated, driven and always looking forward to the next challenge. Employee Type Regular Full-Time In search of a technician with a minimum 3 years experience in diagnosing any instrument cluster light, (check engine, ABS, traction, etc.) inspecting and repairing brakes, engine, suspension, air conditioning, steering and other parts of vehicle. Repair engine head gasket leaks, fuel pumps, power steering components, cooling related parts and more. Perform all regular service maintenance items such as fluid exchanges, flushes, tire rotations, full inspections with clear hand written recommendations.Pay Structure:
Commission typed based salary.Responsibilities:
Must be able to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service writers. Knowledge of how to resurface brake rotors, brake drums, press in bearings, replace struts along with other vehicle components. Keep all tools organized, keep all surrounding areas clean and free of any types of fluid, mop floors when needed around work area, return all items to original locations. Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED A basic knowledge of computers with Windows operating system. Must know how to use a diagnostic scanner. (Use of Snap-On provided) At least 3 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience. Have own tool box and tools. A high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude. Must have a valid driver's license.Physical Qualifications:
Must be able to operate equipment such as hydraulic press, strut compressor, air tools, hand tools and basic office equipment. Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 75 pounds. Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands.
