We're a 10-bay independent shop specializing in Asian and American vehicles plus fleet accounts. Our customers come back — and send their friends — because we communicate clearly, recommend honestly, and stand behind our work. And because we're a four-day shop, you get a three-day weekend every single week. We're adding a Service Advisor to our front office. You'll work alongside our Lead Advisor, own your own repair orders, and have a real path to grow into a top advisor over time. What You'll Do

• Turn phone calls and walk-ins into scheduled repair orders
• Own the customer relationship from drop-off to delivery
• Listen to customer concerns and write them up accurately, using the customer's name and the full story
• Review and clean up technician notes into clear, professional, customer-ready estimates
• Keep customers updated within two hours of drop-off and stay ahead of them
• Build estimates that are honest, profitable, and easy to understand What We're Looking For
• Obsessive attention to detail — you proofread, you catch mistakes, and you fix them
• Coachable — you take feedback as information and adjust right away
• Strong written communication — you can turn technical jargon into plain English a customer understands
• Calm, professional, and customer-focused under pressure
• Comfortable learning shop software (we use Tekmetric)
• Valid California driver's license and clean driving record Service writing experience is a plus — but whether you've done this for years or are ready to build into it, what matters most is accuracy, honesty, and a willingness to be coached. Why Advanced Automotive
