Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Service vehicles by replacing parts, adjusting alignments, and repairing powertrains to ensure safety and reliability. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools to complete repairs to high standards. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and alignments to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly. Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimating reports, and communicate repair needs clearly to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with Kia vehicles or similar makes is preferred; experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service technology. Knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive electrical systems. Service technician experience demonstrating the ability to perform auto estimating and customer communication effectively. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to ensure a positive client experience.
