The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs on various types of gas and diesel vehicles. Added bonus if you have a strong electrical diagnosis and repair background. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of all mechanical systems. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Utilize diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to assess electrical systems and troubleshoot problems effectively. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts. Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Proven experience as a Mechanic. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, particularly an ohmmeter, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Strong electrical background is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mechanics or relevant fields are a plus. A commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment is required.
