Lube Technician

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and motivated Lube Technician to join the equipment maintenance team at Yanez Construction. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, complete inspections, and ensure our construction equipment and fleet are operating safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced shop environment. You will play a key role in reducing equipment downtime by performing routine services, identifying potential issues early, and communicating findings to the Shop Manager or Master Technician. Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance Perform scheduled PM services on construction equipment and vehicles Change engine oil and filters Grease equipment and lubricate components Replace fuel, hydraulic, and air filters Check and top off all fluid levels Inspections Conduct thorough equipment inspections Identify leaks, wear, and safety concerns Report repair needs promptly to Shop Manager or Master Technician Document inspection findings accurately and consistently Shop & Inventory Support Maintain a clean and organized PM service area Assist mechanics and technicians as needed Properly dispose of waste fluids and materials Monitor and restock filters, oils, and PM supplies Keep inventory areas labeled and organized Safety Responsibilities Follow all required PPE guidelines Handle oils, chemicals, and waste materials safely Maintain spill control readiness Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards Qualifications Experience in equipment or vehicle maintenance preferred Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Familiarity with shop tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and safety Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude Equal Opportunity Statement Yanez Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
