Tire and Lube Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire services, and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil/filter changes
• Check and replace other vehicle filters when needed, and top off fluids
• Properly dismount, mount and balance tires
• Tire inspections and repairs
• Perform vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Testing and replacing batteries
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures
• Clean and organize shop tools and equipment
• Properly dispose of used tires and oil filters

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A valid driver's license with a clean record
• Have some experience in the automotive field
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Transportation to and from the store
• Must be able to work a varied schedule
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to follow all safety guidelines
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period.
