Fleet Mechanic - San Jose Location

Mosaic Global Transportation is seeking a motivated Fleet Mechanic to join our San Jose team. This is an urgent hire opportunity for a skilled professional who can provide high-quality maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. The successful candidate must possess at east 3-5 years of experience and able to work both independently and as a team player.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational. Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, engine tune-up, suspension, drive trains, transmissions, clutches, and other systems. Specialized knowledge of Cummins engines is required. Ensure work orders are completed accurately and maintain detailed records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used. Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

• Perform work in accordance with all safety standards (OSHA & HAZMAT).
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• 3-5 Years verifiable maintenance experience
• Valid, clean drivers license (class B endorsement preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented, solutions-based, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must provide own tools
• Experience with fleet management systems a plus Ability to work weekends and some holidays Physical requirements:
