In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with a focus on software integration and electronic control modules. Your expertise will ensure that vehicles meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technology and contribute to the future of mobility. Pay will be a job by job basis at 50% earnings per job. Most projects will be highly technical expensive jobs with VinFast vehicles. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), powertrain, transmissions, and vehicle electrical components. Utilize schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electronic issues efficiently. Conduct vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension repairs to optimize vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace mechanical parts and electrical components. Assist in software updates, calibration, and reprogramming of vehicle control modules using specialized diagnostic software. Collaborate with service technicians to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical failures and implement effective solutions. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience. Skills Knowledge in VinFast software and electric vehicle programming Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of ADAS systems, schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and welding techniques. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and general automotive service. Familiarity with auto estimating software and diagnostic tools used in modern automotive repair shops. Strong understanding of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment while adhering to safety standards.
