- Santa Maria, CA AUTO-IQ Services is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team.
- Strong automotive diagnostic experience
- Diesel diagnostic and repair experience
- Ability to accurately diagnose electrical, drivability, and network communication issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications
- California Smog Inspector License
- California Vehicle Safety Inspection License
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Experience with scan tools, lab scopes, and modern diagnostic equipment Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel vehicles
- Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Diagnose CAN, LIN, and other vehicle network communication systems
- Conduct California Smog Inspections (if licensed)
- Perform Vehicle Safety Inspections (if licensed)
- Complete repair orders and documentation accurately
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Growth Opportunities We are willing to train the right candidate in:
