Automotive Service Technician

Don's Automotive is seeking an experienced auto technician to join our team. We are a leading auto repair shop in Signal Hill. We combine our passion for automotive repair with a dedication to excellent customer service. Our team is committed to maintaining the highest standards in every repair.

Full Time:

M-F 8 am to 5 pm,

Optional:

Sat 8 am to 2 pm. Competitive salary. Duties and Responsibilities Examine cars based on customer requests or concerns Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels Repair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately Ensure customer satisfaction at all times Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience as an auto technician Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plus ASE certification required Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair technique Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
