In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of RV systems and components, ensuring each vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for adventure. Whether you're performing routine maintenance or tackling complex repairs, your hands-on work will make a real difference every day. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on RVs to identify mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues. Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmission servicing, suspension work, tire rotations, alignment adjustments, and shocks & struts replacement. Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems using diagnostic tools and soldering techniques. Service diesel engines and perform heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large components. Replace or repair HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, power tools equipment, and auto body parts as needed. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications to guarantee vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, air brakes, alignment, suspension, HVAC, tire service, shocks & struts, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and automotive electrical systems. Experience in automotive repair including brake repair, assembly work, equipment repair, auto body repair and maintenance tasks such as oil changes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients. Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training preferred; experience working with RVs or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
