Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring high-quality work on various vehicle systems, including powertrains, electrical systems, and more. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot automotive electrical systems and mechanical issues. Execute alignment services and powertrain repairs with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including transmissions and powertrains. Proficient in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in vehicle maintenance tasks. Strong customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during service interactions. Experience working in a dealership setting is highly desirable.
