Full-Time | Contract Job Overview We are hiring an Automotive Technician to support vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet readiness activities in Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on maintaining a growing fleet through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and quality inspections while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for automotive technicians who have strong hands-on maintenance experience and are interested in working with advanced vehicle technologies. Autonomous vehicle experience is not required. Key Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle issues using standard diagnostic tools and repair procedures Support fleet readiness through vehicle servicing, testing, inspections, and quality checks Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements Document repair procedures, inspection findings, and service records accurately Work closely with technicians, engineering teams, and operations personnel to resolve vehicle issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Assist with parts inventory, tool organization, and general shop operations Support daily fleet maintenance activities to maximize vehicle availability and reliability Requirements General automotive maintenance and repair experience Experience performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and vehicle repairs Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with automotive tools, shop equipment, and repair procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting fleet operations or fleet maintenance programs Automotive trade school education or certifications ASE certifications are a plus Experience with diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting Interest in advanced vehicle technologies and autonomous vehicle systems Schedule Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits Employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage Pre-tax commuter benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer-covered disability and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Additional Details Onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA Must be authorized to work in the
