In this energized role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring top-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will drive your success as you work with advanced diagnostic tools and stay current with the latest automotive technologies. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to execute repairs and maintenance tasks effectively. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Assist in vehicle inspections for dealership or fleet maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Requirements Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and ability to read schematics effectively. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is desirable. Ability to work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
