The basic responsibilities of the lube technician include performing maintenance work such as oil changes, lubricating joints and checking for mechanical issues. The ideal candidate for this position will be an individual with an automotive background and keen attention to detail. This position will report to the service advisor and perform additional customer service duties. Typical duties include:

Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance such as oil changes, joint lubrication, tire inflation, wiper blade replacement, filter changes and brake pad replacements Check tire pressure and fluid levels in vehicles Detail vehicles after service Move vehicles around the auto shop Fuel service and shuttle vehicles for the repair shop Follow safety procedures and maintain a service log Tend to basic customer service issues
