Automotive Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving a variety of vehicle issues. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs. Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive tasks. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify issues related to alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, and more. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems accurately. Repair or replace components such as air brakes, diesel engines, and other mechanical parts as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform maintenance on GM vehicles is desirable. Experience with auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is beneficial. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and their components. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
