Auto Installation Technician for Emergency Vehicles

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Auto Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing installation of lights, sirens, cages & various equipment on emergency vehicles to ensure optimal operation and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, In Car Video, Computers, License Plate Recognition and much more Fabricate parts as needed to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Install lighting, wiring vehicles for electrical equipment Able to work in tight spaces, lots of standing and kneeling & able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance Able to multi task Perform duties in a timely & efficient manner Excellent communication skills Able to work alongside an assigned technician to learn & perform quality installation of parts on vehicles Removal of factory equipment in vehicles Experience Proven experience in vehicle wiring, installing lights & other equipment Mechanical Knowledge (Required) Ability to work with power tools, screw drivers, wrenches drills, etc. Demonstrated leadership skills in a technical environment are advantageous.
