Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair and replace powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently. Diagnose and address issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignments, and vehicle electrical systems to ensure optimal safety features are functioning correctly. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to guide complex repairs on GM vehicles and other makes. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate repair findings clearly with customers. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical components, transmissions, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive schematics, ADAS calibration procedures, and alignment techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for effective repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience with auto estimating software and maintenance of detailed service documentation. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
