About the Role As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will act as the primary bridge between our technical team and our valued clients, ensuring every vehicle receives top-tier care. You will leverage your expertise in automotive repair processes and customer relationship management to drive shop performance and deliver exceptional service experiences. Responsibilities Consult with clients to diagnose vehicle needs and translate technical requirements into clear, actionable repair plans. Manage shop workflow by coordinating with technicians to ensure timely completion of service orders and maintenance tasks. Generate accurate repair estimates and effectively communicate service recommendations to maximize customer satisfaction and shop revenue. Oversee daily bay operations and maintain facility organization to ensure a safe and efficient service environment. Cultivate strong relationships with parts vendors to streamline supply chain processes and reduce vehicle downtime. Track and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the team consistently meets operational goals. Required Skills Proven experience in automotive service writing or a similar customer-facing role. Strong proficiency in automotive repair terminology and computerized shop management systems. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor team members in a fast-paced environment. Experience with inventory management and parts procurement. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality customer outcomes.
