G. Coleman, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Mechanic and Fleet Technician to maintain and repair our heavy-duty fleet. This role is key to ensuring our equipment remains safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair tractor-trailers, diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, tires, brakes, alignments, fluid services) Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs Perform basic fabrication and welding as needed Maintain accurate service and repair records Assist with equipment assembly and disassembly Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic (heavy equipment or dealership preferred) Strong understanding of diesel engines and vehicle systems Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Experience operating heavy machinery is a plus Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions Benefits Competitive hourly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Opportunities for overtime Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable, full-time schedule Supportive, safety-focused team environment Apply today to join D.G.
