Job Description

Mac Sons Auto exists to offer honest, high-quality repairs at a fair price and to build lasting relationships with our clients based on trust and respect as we continue to grow as a company! We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing convenient and efficient vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers at their preferred locations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of various types of vehicles, from cars and trucks to motorcycles and recreational equipment.
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer locations, including homes, offices, and roadside breakdowns, to perform on-site vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and other mechanical components, to identify issues and develop appropriate repair plans. Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, electrical system repairs, and general maintenance tasks. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues. Provide detailed explanations and recommendations to customers regarding required repairs, estimated costs, and maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate records of performed repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings, using computer-based systems or other documentation methods. Collaborate with team members, including service advisors and parts personnel, to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
Prior experience as an automotive technician (1+ year preferred). Solid understanding of how to properly diagnose vehicles that are unable to start along with the ability to get them operating smoothly again. Strong knowledge of automotive parts including diagnostic scan tools. Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds.

$55.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
